The Baby Session Experience

Sitter sessions are to be held when the baby is sitting up on his or her own with no support normally around 6-10 months of age. These sessions can be held in my studio or outdoors. They are about 30-45 minutes long and typically I will have 3 setups for indoors. Simple props and textures with the focus on babies cuteness and personality! I do have an adorable studio wardrobe collection for this age group so feel free to stop by and customize your session! Cake smashes are for when your little is turning 1! I take a lot of time to customize each theme of the clients choice along with one solid backdrop color of your choice for some simplistic natural portraits to start the session. I do not provide the cakes for allergy purposes.

Once the session is booked I will begin to ask you if there is any specifics you would like and ask you about wardrobe as I have lots of options of cute outfits for this age group! During the session it will be about 30-45 min, yes there will be outfit changes and nornally about 2-3 setups that we discuss prior to the session. I ask that you dont bring a ton of family members to these because I have found the baby doesnt know where to look, we want to keep these sessions minimum when it comes to whos trying to make baby smile and laugh , I will ask the parents to stand directly behind me to ensure I get baby eye contact. If this session is a cake smash, I will have the first setup a plain solid backdrop, and the second will be the cake smash setup that we discuss prior the session. Once baby is in the cake smash dont worry if they do not go after the cake right away of ever lol, alot of the time they dont know what do with it, and I will normally have the parents smash the babies hands and feet in it or feed them some . These sessions can be pretty messy haha and I will always have a towel on hand but please make sure to bring extra clothing for baby.
