Simple One Year Session

I absolutely love One Year Sessions whether they be cake smashes, or another food , or just a simple studio session. It’s fun to see your clients again and again bringing their once newborn babies back to the studio to see how much they grew in just one year. It all goes by too quickly. To be able to have my clients come back for me to be able to freeze these moments in time for them with the galleries I send off is such a great way for them to be to keep those memories alive.

Details of One Year Milestone Sessions

Are you thinking about doing a One Year session with you little cutie? These sessions are a great way to help celebrate your baby turning One years old and having some beautiful cute images to display at their party! When booking for a cake smash or whichever theme you have in mind, I provide everything but the cake. I typically will talk to my clients over the phone regarding what theme they have in mind and give them my professional opinion on the choice, along with some ideas of my own. These sessions are normally pretty short as we don’t want the babies to get overstimulated and such. What time should these be help is best determined by your littles nap schedule and eating schedule. We want them hungry but not cranky lol. I do provide some add ons to these sessions as well that I will go over.

Add-Ons

Family can be included in these one year sessions before your little babe gets messy. These really make a nice memory to have included in the gallery. Also it allows your One year old to get a little more comfortable being in the studio before they sit alone on their custom made setup. I really enjoy these add ons that are no extra charge because the connection between your baby who is about to hit a big milestone and the family is just so precious. It really melts my heart.

Fun In The Tub

Another add on after the cake smash that can be included is a Fun in the Tub setup. These are fun and can include a milk bath or just simple baby bubbles in the tub. In this session we chose milk bath with the confetti from the donut setup. Miss Milly loved the tub and didn’t want to get out. It also cleans your baby off from the messy cake smash or whichever food you choose. Don’t forget to bring your own towel and baby wipes for these sessions as they can be quite messy.
