Kayla and her beautiful family have been coming to me for years. Our first session together I instantly new they would be such great awesome clients! They are so sweet and their styling is always on point to where I don’t ever worry about styling them myself. They always know how to connect with each other and give me what I need to tell their story. During these family sessions connecting to your babies and spouse are key to make the images give you all the feels. Dance and sing , give eskimo kisses… our babies are only little for so long.
How To Choose Location
Location for me really tells the story on who your clients are. What they enjoy best. Is it nature? Is it studio indoors? I have many locations that I love to share with my clients to get the feel on where they would like to go for their personal session. The beach, that is my happy place. It makes me feel grounded and alive. Oh wait haha for me that is any nature location outdoors. However, some clients don’t like the beach, they don’t like to get sand everywhere and get in the our cold ocean water. These clients every year we have gone somewhere different. Each year they come prepared knowing what it is I am looking for to tell their story. This year they chose the forest. Now sometimes forest sessions can be tricky due to you don’t have any idea how the lighting is going to be. Well goodness we got the best golden light here Omg! It was just beautiful!
